Results from Solo Events will be posted in a designated area and awards can be collected at the award booth. Championship results will be announced on stage.

*Perpetual Cups MUST be returned to 580 North Maple Ave, Ridgewood NJ by February 1*

Schedule: The official schedule will be released after the close of registration

• Competitions may run an hour ahead or an hour behind the schedule. Competitions will not be held open for late or missing dancers.

• Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled competition. 

• No changes to competitions once registration closes

• We reserve the right to adjust age groups based on entries. If adjustments affect the schedule, you will be notified promptly.

Award Events: If a dancer is awarded 1st place in the A, B or Intermediate Award they are not permitted to compete in that Award again and must move up to the next grade for the Award and also the solo version of the dance.

• Beginner Awards

  • A & B Solo Awards will be performed in front of 1 Adjudicator.

  • The A Award is for any dancer who has 3 or more solo dances in the A grades.

  • The B Award is for any dancer who has 2 or more solo dances in the B grades.

  • Dancers must dance in a minimum of 2 solo dances at a Feis to compete in the Award

  • Example: A dancer is Beginner B in their reel, but remains Beginner A in Light Jig, Slip Jig, Single Jig - the dancer can enter the Beginner A award.

• Intermediate Award

  • Award will be performed in front of 1 Adjudicator.

  • The Intermediate Award is for any dancer who has not attained 1st place in the Intermediate Award, Preliminary, premiership or Open Championships.

  • Example: A dancer is Open in their reel, the dancer can enter the Inter award.

• Preliminary & Open Championships

  • Preliminary Championship is for dancers who have not won a 3 round, 3+ adjudicator championship. IE a dancer who has won a championship where a round included a Modern Set dance is no longer eligible to the Preliminary Championship

    • Dancers can win the Preliminary Championship up to 3 times. After a third win, they are no longer eligible, or if they win a multi-round/multi-adjudicator championship

  • Dancers must dance a minimum of 2 solo dances at a Feis to compete in the Preliminary and Open Championships

Results:

• Solo dances will be posted in the designated award area at least 1 hour after each level is finished. 

• Championship Events will be announced on stage.  

• Dancers must be in full costume & shoes to accept awards on stage.

Susan Daly - Stanek Go for the Gold Dance Off - Adjudicators can nominate up to dancers to participate. Adjudicators do not need to choose dancers from each age group. Dancer nominations will not be based on ranking. Adjudicators will be nominating dancers-based competitors giving it their all & being the best dancer they can be. The winner will be selected by adjudicators during a step-out dance.
